Josiah and Debi became Christians at an early age and grew up in Christian homes. In college at Texas A&M they were both part of a campus church which greatly encouraged them in their faith and understanding of God. They then became involved in leading small groups and discipling other college students. After graduating in 2000 and marrying they joined a small church plant team in Denton, Texas and for 8 years worked with students at the University of North Texas. After hearing about the shootings at the Virginia Tech Campus, Josiah was led to give up the business he had started and join the staff as a missionary with GCM. Josiah and Debi have three daughters, Merit, Brynn ad Leila. |
