Will grew up in Dallas, Texas. He attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated with a degree in communications. Julie grew up in Broken Bow, Nebraska. She also attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated from their missionary aviation program. In 1993 Will and Julie were married in Nebraska and Will flew locally as a flight instructor and aircraft mechanic. They joined MAF in 1996. Their first assignment was to Suriname, South America. Will's main duties were flying supplies for missionaries and medical emergency flights. After three years in Suriname, they transferred to Port Au Prince, Haiti where Will currently serves as a pilot/ mechanic and flight scheduler. Will and Julie have two children, William and Abby.
