What to Expect
What to Expect When You Visit Frisco Bible Church
At Frisco Bible Church, you can expect that when you arrive you will be greeted by friendly people who will help you understand where to go, and how to find out what you need to know. When you arrive, you will see that we have two buildings on campus – our Children & Students building, and our Worship Center. Just follow the signs and/or the directions of one of our Parking Team volunteers.
If you have children or students, please enter their building first and head over to one of our volunteers at the check in kiosks. They will help you get checked in, walk you to your classrooms, and introduce you to the teachers who will be teaching your children and students from the Bible that day.
If you do not have children (or have already checked them into class) – please head over to our Worship Center Building through the connecting courtyard. When you enter the Worship Center Building, you will be greeted by our volunteers who can point you to the Café and Information Center. Our Café has some great coffees and teas, and at our Information Center we have a special gift bag waiting for you that has some info about FBC and a special treat.
When the church service is about to start, head towards Worship Center and one of our Ushers will hand you a bulletin with sermon notes, announcements, and other info – and will show you to an available seat.
Our worship music is a contemporary style with a mixture of instruments that includes both upbeat and reflective songs – all intended to give glory to God while we worship “in spirit and in truth”. Our Senior Pastor (Wayne) will teach from the Bible so that we understand what God has written to us, and how He wants us to apply that truth to our lives. The teaching methods Wayne uses include expository teaching, multimedia, historical/archeological data, interactive questions, and a variety of real life examples.
While we’ve done our best to share “who we are” in writing, we know that visiting a church for the first time can be both a challenging and rewarding experience. We would enjoy the chance to answer any questions you may have, and we hope to see you next Sunday!
