Life Verses:

1 Timothy 1:5

“The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

Habakkuk 3:16-19

16 I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. 17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.

2 Interesting Facts:

1. I served as the Coordinating Trainer for the Baylor live bear mascots.

2.I moved to Frisco when the population was 6,000.

As an eleven year-old, I was blessed to have a summer camp counselor with the appropriate camp name of "Stormy." This bold young man cared enough about me to share the truth: "You seem a really nice, smart kid. Too bad you are going to spend eternity in Hell."

Though I was shocked and incensed, he calmly opened the text and showed me the scriptural facts about Jesus, heaven, and Hell. He showed me that only through faith alone in Jesus alone could I be made right before God. Having come from a good home and church, I had heard this before, but this time I responded and trusted Jesus as Savior.
